Reaching The Beach House by rail is easy. Regular trains run from Edinburgh to Burntisland railway station which is 10-15 minutes walk away. If you have heavy bags, please phone in advance and a either one of us will be happy to pick you up or if this is not possible we can arrange a transfer using a local taxi (£2.00).
Arriving on foot is even easier, the house is adjacent to the Fife Coastal Path at the end of the beach.
If you travelling by car, follow the A921 (second exit after the Forth Road Bridge coming from Edinburgh) through Dalgety Bay and Aberdour. Arriving in Burntisland, turn right at the small roundabout, heading towards the town centre. Turn left at the roundabout along Kinghorn Road. You will see the sea and links park on your right. Lochies Road is the next road on the right (turn at the Burntisland Sands Hotel). Go under the bridge (note low clearance) and carefully turn right onto the Fife Coastal Footpath, the house is just around the corner where there is plenty of parking. It’s a good idea to print off these directions as we are tucked away down a wee road and easy to miss without them. If you do get lost, just phone us on 01592 872020 or ask anyone in the town to direct you to the old Beach Tearooms.
